About the artist:
Jen Kroll is a primarily self taught artist living on a small farm in Michigan with her family. She has a fondness for birds, as well as equines. Most of her work reflects these loves, though she enjoys the challenge of many other species as well. Jen's equine work has earned many awards and often portrays her subjects in more natural or comical poses. She infuses each piece with it's own unique character and creating pieces that are enjoyable and engaging. Her bird art often captures the more humorous side of life. Another passion of Jen's is raising and showing Netherland Dwarf rabbits, and that shows up in her art from time to time. She works in both sculpture and paintwork (flatwork and 3 dimensional), but says her real love is earthenware ceramic. She hopes to get a small ceramics studio going in 2019.
